As a teenager, no matter how difficult they may seem, they will always need to have a role model there. Do you know who the role model is? That role model is you. If you drink alcohol, use bad words a lot or do any other bad behavior, then your teen may start to do the same. They say "you do it, so I can do it too." In order to help your teen, you will need to help yourself out by getting rid of all that bad behavior you have in your life.
Next, you need to let your teen see that you will always be there for them, no matter what.
When your teen starts to get an attitude with you and yells at you, you should not yell back at them. I understand that this may be hard for you, but having a yelling match with that teenager is no good. You will need to speak calmly and perhaps he or she will start to do the same thing.Teenagers are very fragile are they are going through a lot of changes. Perhaps your teen is not difficult at all. He or she may just have some things on their mind. Feel free to let them know that they can speak to you about anything and everything. For the time being, just hang in there.
